Privacy Policy
Effective May 30, 2026
We keep this short because privacy is a feature, not an afterthought.
What We Store
Stryve doesn't require an account.
All of your workouts, progress, settings, and fitness data are stored on your device. We don't maintain a copy of your workout history on our servers.
To help the app function, we generate a random unique identifier. This identifier isn't linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information.
We also store:
- Your workout completion events
- Your preferred workout frequency and goals
- Notification preferences
Notifications
We use OneSignal to deliver workout reminders and notifications. OneSignal receives a notification identifier so messages can reach your device, but this identifier doesn't tell us who you are. We don't know your name, email, or phone number.
Analytics
We use PostHog and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use Stryve and improve the app.
- Feature usage
- App performance
- Crashes and errors
- Anonymous session recordings and interactions
We use this information to improve the product, not to identify you.
Who Else Touches Your Data
OneSignal
Handles workout reminders and notifications.
PostHog
Provides product analytics so we can understand usage patterns and improve Stryve.
Microsoft Clarity
Provides anonymous session replay and usage insights to help us identify usability issues and improve the experience.
Deleting Your Data
Since your workout data lives on your device, deleting the app removes that data unless you've backed it up through your device's own backup services.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at stryve.app/privacy.
